SEIZE. SIP. ENJOY.

Mural, App. 15 x 12 ft.

2018

This mural was previously featured at Second Chance’s brewery location in order to increase brand awareness and serve as a photo opportunity for customers.

The mural concept was made in collaboration with the brewery owners and team, who wanted to showcase the breweries efforts with giving back to the community of San Diego while incorporating nature and hops. Particular attention was paid to ensuring that the light source from behind the two hands reflected onto the hops. The mural also features Second Chance’s slogan “Seize, Sip, Enjoy” to ensure the company’s brand was represented in photos.

The mural was hand painted using acrylic paint over the course of two months.

HAZED FOR DAZE

Digital Illustration

2018

This can design was for the second limited release Hazy IPA. This can was released on Independence Day, which was the inspiration for this patriotic design. The digital illustration is the Statue of Liberty’s torch with the Second Chance logo and a hop. The smoke also incorporates the beer name “hazed for daze” as an image to the previous can design in this series (see below).

FACE THE HAZE

Painting and Digital Illustration

2018

“Face the Haze” was the first of several special release Hazy IPAs made by Second Chance, who requested a custom painting based on the beer name. The design was inspired by images and music from the 70’s. The smoke has the beer name scattered inside. The painting received so much praise from the brewery they requested a digital rendering for their can release.
