This piece was made for the first annual Pure Project Label Art Competition. Participants were assigned to make an art piece using mostly or 100% Pure Project can labels.

For this piece I used a cutout of the word “Pure” to make Pure Project’s logo. The word “pure” was written in my own handwriting and was cut out of Pure Project can labels using the Cricut machine. Each letter was individually placed onto a canvas to create an ombre effect behind the Pure Project logo. This piece took approximately 100 hours to complete and won 2nd place in the competition.
